Klixa is a photo-sharing service for shared moments such as weddings, trips, birthdays, and family events. This Privacy Policy explains what information Klixa collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information Klixa Collects
When you create or use a Klixa account, Klixa collects:
- Your email address.
- Your display name.
- An account identifier linked to your content.
When you upload photos to shared Albums, Klixa collects:
- The photos you upload.
- Album membership information.
- Information about invitations and Album admins.
If you opt in to receive product update notifications, Klixa collects your email address for that purpose.
Klixa also keeps short-term operational logs to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Klixa does not collect:
- Location data.
- Contact lists.
- Calendar data.
- Microphone data.
- Advertising identifiers.
Photos kept private on your device only are not collected by Klixa.
Private Albums and Shared Albums
Some Albums are private and stored only on your device. Klixa does not receive or store photos from those Albums.
Shared Albums work differently. Photos added to shared Albums are stored on Klixa servers so invited members can view them.
How Klixa Uses Information
Klixa uses collected information to:
- Operate and maintain the service.
- Deliver shared Albums to invited members.
- Communicate with users about their accounts.
- Improve reliability, security, and performance.
Klixa does not use personal information for advertising. Klixa does not sell user information.
How Long Information Is Kept
Account information is kept while your account is active.
If you delete your account, sign-in access is disabled immediately. Your data is removed within 30 days. This period allows recovery from accidental deletion if you contact Klixa in writing. After 30 days, the data cannot be recovered.
Photos in shared Albums remain available while the Album exists, unless the photo is deleted earlier by the user who uploaded it or by the Album admin where applicable.
If you leave an Album or delete your account, photos you previously added to shared Albums may remain visible to other Album members as part of the shared event history.
Product update email signups are kept until deletion is requested, the account is deleted, or shortly after the relevant update is delivered.
Your Rights and Choices
You may:
- Delete your account from within the app or by email.
- Request a copy of your account data.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of product update email signups.
Klixa will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
Klixa is not intended for children under 13.
If Klixa learns that an account belongs to a child under 13, the account and associated information will be deleted.
Parents or guardians may contact Klixa to request deletion of a child’s information.
Photo Analysis and AI Features
Klixa does not currently use artificial intelligence, facial recognition, or automated photo analysis on user photos.
Security
Klixa uses standard security measures to help protect account information and shared content.
Changes to This Policy
Klixa may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version. Users should review this page periodically for updates.
